What’s happening
Week commencing 13th November, our next block of activities starts in January if you would like to join the new block please see a member of the activities team for more information.
Events listed below are get togethers with refreshments provided – unless otherwise indicated. If you already attend we want to see you again and if you want to come for the first time you can be sure of a very warm welcome despite the colder weather outside!
Please check what’s on this week as some services are not on due to the BIADS holiday.
Monday 13th November
10am to noon Snap tin café at Goldthorpe drop in cafe
10am to 1pm Monk Bretton Café – referral only please see a member of staff to book a place
3pm online yoga – please phone for a link to join in, staff will help and talk you through how to connect.
Friday 17th November
10am- 12 midday drop in cafe
Places at day centre available all week please see a member of staff to book
Coming up
27th November at our Time for tea 1pm-3pm we will be having a ukulele band attending please join us for a sing song.
Holiday Inn Christmas Market – Sunday 19th November – all welcome 10am -3pm – If anyone can do any baking for our BIADS’ stall it would be greatly appreciated. Goods to be dropped off at BIADS on Friday 17th November.
Santa’s visit Tuesday 12th December – 4pm-7pm – all welcome – if bringing children then need to book them in – £8 per child – includes a visit to see Santa, a present, a hot dog and a drink. You are welcome to come without children and pay for hotdogs and drinks and cakes on the night.
Christmas East Dene tickets now on sale – Thursday 14th December 12-4pm – £15 per person – see Louise, Jane or any member of the activity team to buy your tickets. Singer, bingo, raffle and afternoon tea box included.

BIADS will be closed for the Christmas break from 4.30pm on Friday 22nd December and will reopen on Tuesday 2nd January. However, we will open on Friday 29.12.23 for our Twixmas party. Bring your own party food and have a Christmas get together
