What’s happening
Week commencing 4th December, our next block of activities starts in January if you would like to join the new block please see a member of the activities team for more information.
Events listed below are get togethers with refreshments provided – unless otherwise indicated. If you already attend we want to see you again and if you want to come for the first time you can be sure of a very warm welcome despite the colder weather outside!
Monday 4th December
10am to noon Snap tin café at Goldthorpe drop in café cuppa and a bacon sandwich only £3 for attendees.
10am to 1pm Monk Bretton Café – referral only please see a member of staff to book a place
1pm to 2pm Singers with our pianist Lynn
3pm online yoga – please phone for a link to join in, staff will help and talk you through how to connect.
Tuesday 5th December
1pm to 2pm Carer support group

Wednesday 6th December
1pm to 3pm Drop in café for ex carers
1pm to 3pm Lunch club for couples (carer and loved one)

10am- 12 midday drop in café Christmas jumper day

Coming up
Monday 11th December Time for tea come along and celebrate Christmas early with Prize bingo and some party games, refreshments mince pies and cake available
Santa’s visit Tuesday 12th December – 4pm-7pm – all welcome – if bringing children then need to book them in – £8 per child – includes a visit to see Santa, a present, a hot dog and a drink. You are welcome to come without children and pay for hotdogs and drinks and cakes on the night.
Christmas East Dene tickets now on sale – Thursday 14th December 12-4pm – £15 per person – see Louise, Jane or any member of the activity team to buy your tickets. Singer, bingo, raffle and afternoon tea box included.
Friday 22nd December at the drop in is glitz and glamour day, get your glad rags on the more sparklier the better!

BIADS will be closed for the Christmas break from 4.30pm on Friday 22nd December and will reopen on Tuesday 2nd January. However, we will open on Friday 29.12.23 for our Twixmas party. Bring your own party food and have a Christmas get together
