A fantastic time was had by all celebrating VE Day at both Penistone Outreach and Dean Street Barnsley.
A special thank you goes to Haywood & Padgett, home of the famous Carlton scone, and to Tesco Penistone for kindly donating the scone fillings. They went down a treat with everyone!
At Penistone, we also had the lovely surprise of a ukulele singalong provided by one of our talented members. Throughout the day, everyone enjoyed watching the flyby and parades on the big screen, listening to traditional vinyl records in the background, and taking part in a quiz, bingo, and a raffle.
It was a wonderful day full of community spirit, laughter, and celebration.
