Next week at BIADS
Week commencing 25th September sees the last week of the break of regular services – the new block of activities start back week commencing 2nd October and there is something for everyone, we do have a few places available so please get in touch if you would like to attend. If you’re not sure which session to join please ask about our taster sessions to help you decide.
Like last week, we still have events going on and carers, people with dementia, volunteers and members are very welcome to come to the events for company, coffee and cake! Tea and biscuits available as well!
All the events listed below, except the walking group, are get togethers with refreshments and maybe a game of bingo thrown in. If you already attend we want to see you again and if you want to come for the first time you can be sure of a very warm welcome
Monday 25th
10am to noon Snap tin café at Goldthorpe
10am to 1pm Monk Bretton Café – referral only please see a member of staff to book a place
1pm to 3pm Time 4 Tea at our centre on Dean Street with a light lunch and an opportunity to ‘voice your views’ about services

11am -3pm Rummage sale, come grab a bargain at our centre on Dean Street

COMING UP
Our Halloween themed social event at the Holiday Inn is on 12th October and tickets are now on sale at our centre – £18 each to include a two course meal (three main course choices to pick from) and teas and coffee and entertainment. Get your dancing shoes on! Deadline for tickets 4th October.
AND FINALLY
Celebrating his birthdays this week is Will Smith (Yum). Also with birthdays this week had they still been with us – Meat loaf (the singer not the food) and Olivia Newton-John, ‘whatcha talking about stud’!
The 26th September is the European day of languages, bonjour!
The 29th September is world heart day; we won’t struggle with that day as we all at BIADS have a lot of heart!
