On Saturday February 1st NPS held a Race Night at the Holy Rood function hall to raise funds for BIADS. It was a very successful night with lots of bets placed, pie and peas consumed and well supported by individuals and local businesses.   Due to the incredible generosity of all who attended the amazing amount of £7,150 was raised.

NPS are supporting BIADS for the third consecutive year as their “Charity of the Year” and the support continues with a planned Golf Day on June 26th.

Linda Pattison, Chief Officer of BIADS, said “We continue to be amazed by the generosity of Barnsley people and can’t thank NPS enough for working tirelessly on our behalf. We would also like to extend a thank you to all those businesses and individuals who supported and attended the event”

BIADS are opening their first Day Care centre this month, with the support of NPS and C.D. Potters, and much new equipment for this new venture is needed, consequently the money raised will be well spent.
