NPS Barnsley has chosen BIADS as its Charity of the Year.
Managing Director of NPS Barnsley, Karen Temple, said: “The work that BIADS does in our community is invaluable to those living with dementia as well as the people around them. It was therefore an honour to name them as our Charity of the Year, and I look forward to working closely with them to raise as much as we can for this much needed local service.”
BIADS’ Chief Officer, Linda Pattison, said: “Here at BIADS we are delighted that NPS Barnsley has chosen us as their charity of the year. With almost 3,000 people in Barnsley who have dementia, there is undoubtedly a great need for our services which include carer support and activities held at our dedicated dementia support centre. The support of companies like NPS Barnsley means we can continue those services, and hopefully expand what we do in the future. We look forward to working with NPS Barnsley in the coming year.”
